About me
I am a lifelong learner who values creating a space where people feel heard, supported, and understood. I love this work and my clients. For their sake, I am committed to continually honing my craft through reading, professional training, conferences, and advanced certification courses.
I am formally trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), with additional training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Gottman-informed couples therapy.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as an educator and international student advisor in high schools and universities, both in the United States and abroad. This experience shaped my appreciation for cross-cultural perspectives, and I especially enjoy working with immigrants and international students.
Outside of my work, I enjoy wooded walks, gardening, cheering for my hometown sports teams, and spending time with family.
